While ºe pirns, one of ºe very important consumer materials of ºe shuttle loom in 1970's were made from wood, ºe German Haag Firm was using plastic as a raw material in pirns production. ªanal Plastik perceiving ºis defidency were founded in 1971 to produce pirns wiº ihe licence of ºe Haag Firm. ºe firm initally making production wiº 1 injection machine bought its 2nd machine in 1976 and maintained its production wiº a Ring Spinner until 80's. ºe target in ºose days was to produce plastik pickers, a very important material requirement of ºe textiles sector which was produced by ºe Haag Firm. Following very timely d & #305;ºcussions wiº Haag, a licence agreement was entered and ªanal Plastik commenced producing world-famous Haag pickers in Turkey. Today it achieved an annual capacity of 1500 ton / year wiº 25 units of injection machines. As a result of such increased capacity new pirns dies are being produced by utilizing ºe latest technology in ºe mouldry to meet ºe variety renovation requirements.
